2023 Live Your Dream Award Winner - Ginger

 

After one semester, Ginger left college to get married. She spent 25 years raising five kids, and supporting her husband’s education and career before becoming a single mom. Finding herself suddenly thrust into the workforce with no education or marketable skills, she has spent the last eight years rebuilding her life.  Three of her children are now adults with degrees, and the two youngest will be entering college over the next two years. Finally, there is time for Ginger to pursue her own dreams and goals, and this scholarship is helping pave the way
